Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.
Former two-time world boxing king Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I'm going to injure his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to seriously aim to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
Despite such comments, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally famous for his showmanship - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather targeted ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at UK rival Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought MMA fighters or faded names since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
However, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of the sport's biggest money-making draws, regularly earning substantial paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old anticipated a stoppage in round four or five and asserted he would derail the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
Size Difference
As both boxers participated in the usual stare-down, with their size difference clearly visible, it drove home just how surprising this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the match is actually proceeding.
